A major facet of my personal philosophy of educating young
people is the embodiment of passion. An educator should be passionate about his
or her craft; passion is contagious, and when the teacher is a passionate
instructor committed to life-long learning, students will sense this and pick
up on it.
Another aspect of my philosophy of teaching involves
stimulating young people to active their natural curiosity to become active
learners who become critical and deep thinkers, and who will eventually become
productive citizens equipped to challenge and evaluate ideas and situations
they encounter in society.
